  • What are the booking hours for the beach hut
    The beach hut can be booked for full-day sessions. Full-day bookings are from 9 AM to 9 PM. We say 9pm, as that gives you time to get the keys back to the shop before it closes at 10 PM.
  • Are Dogs Allowed At Your Hut
    Yes, we allow dogs at our beach hut. There is also a dog water bowl inside the hut for your use. Please note Bournemouth Council have different rules for dogs on the beach. The map is here. Thank you.
  • Are there accessible parking spaces near the beach hut
    Yes, there are accessible parking spaces available near the beach hut. You can find them using Bournemouth Council's Car Parking Finder, which is linked here: https://www.bcpcouncil.gov.uk/parking/find-a-car-park.
  • What amenities are available at the beach hut
    Our beach hut is equipped with various amenities including seating, a table, a small gas hob and kettle as well as a range of utensils, a water bowl for dogs. For a full list of amenities, please visit our info page by clicking here.
  • What is the maximum capacity of the beach hut
    The maximum capacity of the beach hut is 6 people. This includes both adults and children. For safety and comfort, we recommend not exceeding this limit.
  • How can I check the availability of the beach hut
    You can check the availability of the beach hut by visiting our booking page on the website. The calendar will show the available dates and times for booking.
  • My preferred date is taken, is there a waiting list
    Yes, we do have a waiting list for dates that are fully booked. Please contact us with your preferred date, and we will notify you if it becomes available.
  • What Are The Closest Car Parks
    Please visit Bournemouth Council's Car Parking Finder which is linked here: https://www.bcpcouncil.gov.uk/parking/find-a-car-park This is more up to date than us publishing a list. Please note our Hut is located at BH1 3AA.
  • Where do I collect the keys
    You collect the keys from a shop called Yaawin Global Spicy Supermarket in Bournemouth. You can find them by clicking here on Google. You will need a key collection code, which is always sent to you on receipt of payment. This is only active for the duration of your booking and becomes active on the first day. If you have booked more than one day, please DO NOT drop the keys back until your hire has ended, We will otherwise have to issue another code and this is time consuming.
  • Can I sleep in the beach hut overnight
    No, overnight stays are not permitted in the beach hut. The hut is available for day use only, from 9 AM to 6 PM.
  • How much is the deposit and when do you require it
    We do not currently take deposits, however it is built into Beach Huts platform that they will charge for any breakages we report upon completion of your hire. We understand wear and tear, and do not charge for this, but any malicious damage etc, we do charge for. We have not had this issue thus far, thankfully.
  • Is the beach hut available year-round
    Yes, our beach hut is available for booking year-round. However, availability may vary depending on the season and demand. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred dates.
  • What is your cancellation policy
    Over 14 days notice the cancellation fee will be 10 % of the total booking value for the nights/days in question. Between 14 and 8 days notice the cancellation fee will be 25% of the total booking value for the nights/days in question. Between 7 and 1 days notice the cancellation fee will be 50% of the total booking value for the nights/days in question. Cancellations made on the day of arrival, the cancellation fee will be 100% of total booking value. You can find the full terms and conditions of hire by clicking here
